2010 Reunion
July 24, 2010--Mill and All Classes High School Reunions from 4-9 at Slater Hall. The Mill Reunion will be held from 4-6 and the High School Reunion Dance will be from 7-9. Everyone is invited and dinner will be available during the entire event. Additionally, there will be music and art and vendor displays. Everyone is invited whether they have ties to one, both or neither of the groups.
Veteran's Day Salute and Cruise-In
November 13, 2010--Veterans Day Salute and Classic Car Show from 10-3 at Slater Hall. Another great patriotic day of music, performances by local students, classic cars on the lawn, food and fun. All Veterans are invited to be recognized. Free to the public.

3rd Annual Greenville Textile Heritage Celebration at The Upcountry History Museum, October 3rd from 10am-5pm and October 4th from 1pm-5pm.
“From Mill to Moon” July 18, 2009 – Event Photos
- Marked the 40th anniversary of the moon landing. Slater Mill played a part in the trip by manufacturing one of the fabrics in the astronauts’ space suits.
- More than a thousand people came out to see astronaut Piers Sellers.
- Slater Mill Reunion
- 137 former and presently employed mill workers from JPS Slater Mill reminisce with old friends. With a combined total of almost 19,000 years of service. Many with 30 or more years and the longest 53 years
- Slater-Marietta High School Reunion: Was held the evening of July 18 at the old high school gym at the present day Slater-Marietta Elementary School. From the last class of 1973 all the way back to the class of 1943 were represented.
